I always know it's time to go back to Sweden when I find myself listening exclusively to Swedish radio/music. I find myself hooked on Hov1's Gamora. Now, in theory, there's no good reason for me to keep listening to it nonstop, but I felt compelled. Finally, I figured it out: it's because it's pure nostalgia. One, the song rips the chorus from Jagged Edge's (feat. Nelly) Where the Party At. Two, the video is straight out of the early 2000s. I half-expected to see Mariah Carey and Wentworth Miller make an appearance. So if concerts are ever a thing again, I can see myself in the audience, bopping along while lecturing the youths on the state of music at the turn of the century.

Update: the rapper in the video, Einar, was killed in October 2021.
